Our mentoring program provides one-to-one mentoring to at-risk youth. Mentors take time to learn their mentee interests, aspirations and future goals to be able to provide them with new experiences and guide them on the right path.
About Our Program
Mentors and mentees are connected based on career, academic and personal interests. The relationship lasts a minimum of 12-months, however many mentorships continue for several years.
Mentors and mentees meet for at least 4-hours in-person per month to programming centered around educational advancement, healthy socialization, recreation, cultural experiences and career exploration.
Together, the mentors and mentees discuss various topics, including academic progress, mutual hobbies and goal setting. They also work together on community advocacy projects, career planning and leadership development.
